Hello and welcome to 7th grade language arts!  I am Mrs. Halverson, and this year will be my 16th year teaching 7th grade at IB.  I am a graduate of Eastern Illinois University.  While at EIU, I studied English and education.  I also spent a summer studying English literature at Harlaxton College in England.  I received my Master's Degree from Illinois State University.  In my spare time, I like shopping, reading, and hiking with my husband, Leo, my son, Lucas, and my daughter, Piper.  If you have any questions, please email me.  I'm looking forward to a great year!
