Hello and welcome to 7th grade language arts!  I am Mrs. Halverson, and this year will be my 10th year teaching 7th grade at IB.  I am a graduate of Eastern Illinois University.  While at EIU, I studied English and education.  I also spent a summer studying English literature at Harlaxton College in England.  I received my Master's Degree from Illinois State University.  In my spare time, I like shopping, reading, and hiking with my husband, Leo, my son, Lucas, my daughter, Piper, and my dog, Dexter.  If you have any questions, please email me.  I'm looking forward to a great year!
